A time-holy villa is located in the capital’s upscale residential neighborhood. Spread over a plot of 6,600 square yards, the Heritage Villa in Civil Lines, New Delhi is an adaptive reuse project designed for timeless, opulent modern living. A Brief History of the Sanctuary Worn from Time to Time: The 140-foot-tall façade of a pre-existing dilapidated building has dominated the site for the past 50-60 years. The pre-independence colonial building was then proudly declared as a complete heritage building by the Urban Arts Commission. The scale and magnitude of the project required experts who could be flexible enough to easily restore the project, which the client found at the city’s architectural heavyweight, Urbanscape Architects.
